It's a day late, but life is real. I really enjoy these "My Day In Photos" posts. They convey a part of someones life that doesn't get seen otherwise, and I wish more people did them :) Anyways, here's another one for ya! ![]() I decided to take advantage of the opportunity of having lugs of freshly peeled sweet potatoes all around me, and decided to cut some up, throw em' in a pot, and make mashed sweet potatoes for dinner. Fun fact: not only are mashed sweet potatoes magically delicious anyways, but if you keep them thick, and refridgerate them, they taste & feel like cookie dough. I win! ![]() We ended up taking a spontaneous detour to Many Hands Trading to look at something, and ended up going through my favorite alley ^.^ I think you can see why it's my favorite. Well, the main reason at least. I love alley's. LOVE them. I love the different textures, colors, and stories that the walls hold. The building right next to this one is and old brick building, with what looks like iron doors, all painted turquoise ^.^ ![]() Okay, so every Wednesday my friends and I have Whiskey Wednesday. We get together for dinner and then spend the rest of the evening talking and hanging out until WCS hour starts. Sometimes we have company join us as well, but not this week. This week we decided to watch the first Harry Potter movie ^.^ Because Jon has never seen it! Which is just ridiculous, being such good friends with Madi and I and NOT having seen or read Harry Potter. We're changing that fact. ![]() I'm a dancer, Madi's a singer. And though we each do both, you can see which one we each excel in and are passionate about. There's this spot in the building that we dance in where the acoustics are amazing, and Madi will stand there once dancing has ended and have her moment in song. Sometimes I'll join her, like this night, when we sang "Loce Will Find A Way" from Lion King II, and Oceans by Hillsong. It was a lovely way to end the event of the evening :) ![]() And to end the evening, we got waylaid by a train on the way home - which made me happy. I like trains. I like the way they look; I like the sounds that they make; and I like the graffiti on the sides (well, not all). Madi and I decided that we would try to read aloud the different phrases spray painted on the sides as they went by. I'm sure it goes without saying, but we fiund it far more entertaining than it should be. It was a splendid way to end the evening :)

It's been too long, guys. As a comeback from this delightfully crazy, busy Summer, I decided to kick things off with one of my all-time favorite memories with Madi.
